Yes, these were taken at a cemetary. This is the first time I took Nick out to take pictures this past June. In weeks prior, he had asked to use the camera and I hestitantly agreed. He took several pictures that I thought were very good, but honestly I thought he was just lucky. Then he wanted to take more pictures. We live in a rather rural area and there is not a whole lot to take pictures of. I decided we should go to the cemetary. I was hoping to find statues of angels. We found a few angels but we found other things we were not expecting.
Nick likes the second photo the best because he says it looks like the George Washington monument. For some reason he loves all things George Washington.
Thank you again for visiting Nick's blog. He is having so much fun taking pictures and he loves your comments.

Wow! Great photos. Happy WW
These are marvelous. I especially love the stone steps!
Nick, these are great pictures. My favorite is the one of the trees.
Happy WW!
I checked out your other pictures and also think the are great. Keep up the good work.
You need to let him borrow that camera more often. I think he's a natural. Have a great WW. :)
Beautiful pics:)
a wonderful set of shots!!
The one of the trees is spectacular. I love reflections, and large trees.
The others are very good, too. The stairs lead the reader up into mystery, and the statue is a great off-center shot in Silhouette.
Nice work, Nick. You are, indeed, a natural.
As far as getting an audio player on the blog, I use one that you can see in action on my blog, here.
It's a very simple plugin that works with Wordpress, but I don't know how you would make it work with Blogger. Let me know via e-mail if you would like to know what it is.
Well Done Nick... I am expecting to see some of your workk in the years to come!!
Ours are up as well if you want to stop by and have a look at burntofferings and more at bernies fotoblog. Happy WW!!

Enjoyed seeing your start Nick. I swiped a picture and I want you and your Mom to go look at it at http://homeinterest.us/blog/index.php?blog=9 and let me know what you think.
Just an idea of what you can really do with the pictures you have already shot. It is why I am so impressed because I see the real potential.
Keep it up and I am glad to see so many nice folks commenting and enjoying your pictures
Great work Nick. Keep those photos coming. My favorite is the stairs!
I thought it was the Washington Monument at first too. My favorite was the reflection with the water. I always love those. Great work!
